For the second year in a row, The Miracle League of Camden County was selected by the CCHS Wildcats Football team to be recipients of their Lift-A-Thon fund-raising event! RED KNIGHTS 2nd ANNUAL RUN & GUN TO BENEFIT CMF!

If you haven’t heard the great news already, the Red Knights Motorcycle Club has again selected Camden Miracle Field to be recipients of the proceeds from their 2nd Annual Run & Gun!

The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 26th!

The motorcycle ride will be like traditional motorcycle charity rides but this one will make a stop at Amelia Shotgun Sports to participate in a 50 target shotgun challenge!

The ride is $20 for non-shooters and $40 for shooters.

Lunch is provided at no additional cost.

You don’t need to ride to participate! You can meet us at Amelia Shotgun Sports and participate in the shotgun challenge! Please email ga25@redknightsmc.com or call Jammer at 912-223-9086 for more information about the ride/skeet shoot challenge.

Please help us get the word out. This is a very exciting and unique opportunity for Camden Miracle Field!

2019 FALL SEASON REGISTRATION IS OPEN AND IT’S ONLINE! :)

Our 2019 Fall Season registration is open! We are now using an online system called myEZreg and we are sure that it will make things much easier on all of us!

Please complete your registration by Friday, 8/30. Players registering after 8/30 will have to pay a $20.00 late fee.

The registration fee for players is $40.00 per player. We will never turn anyone away due to inability to pay. If you need assistance, please complete the online registration and contact us for assistance.

There is no fee for volunteering and your first Buddy shirt will be provided to you free of charge.

Again, all players must register by 8/30 to avoid a late fee of $20.00.

All volunteers that are 18 years old and older must complete the Georgia Background Check form and provide a photocopy of the front of your driver’s license. The form is available on our website and a link will be provided to you in the email that you will receive after completing the online registration process. Please either mail your completed form and photocopy or bring them to our training session on 9/27 at 6:00 pm.

“Justin’s Miracle Field” Is Transitioning to “Camden Miracle Field”

Hello friends and Miracle League supporters,

On behalf of me and my family, I am writing this post to let you know that our time at The Miracle League of Camden County is coming to an end. We are not departing immediately but need to begin a transition period to ensure the future success of the league.

The first part of the transition period has already occurred as you can see by the attached image. It has been decided by my family and I to rename “Justin’s Miracle Field” …to “Camden Miracle Field”. Upon our departure, for obvious and personal reasons, we feel that we must remove Justin’s name from the field. Please support and honor our decision and help us welcome a new chapter of Miracle League baseball in Camden County.

Tina and I fully intend to stay onboard until we are sure that the league will continue without interruption. We have a huge construction project starting soon and we will see it through as it will greatly ease the burden on the board of directors as they execute the games on Friday nights. Upon our departure, we fully intend to be “in the background” to help our board of directors as needed. With that said, our board of directors will be soliciting for new members very soon. This is a demanding job that requires a lot of time to be managed effectively. If you are willing to devote your time and talents, and are serious about helping, please reach out to the board.

A strong core of volunteer board members is a necessity to keep this program going. We are blessed to have been and continue to be surrounded by the best group of friends (that we call family) that have guided this program for the last 8 years. Everyone on the board fully understands the benefit that this league has provided to the players, their families, and volunteers. This simple game of baseball can be a life-changer for our special families and volunteers. We have witnessed barriers being broken and for our players to get their wish….to be treated like everyone else. To be included and have fun!

I want to sincerely thank all of you for your support over the last 8 years. This has been the most rewarding project I have ever been a part of. It has been a ton of hard work but also a lot of joy and love. We are looking forward to the wonderful future of Camden Miracle Field!
