“Volunteers are the heart of Camden Miracle Field.”

Buddies (Ages 12+)

Buddies assist players throughout the game by:

  • Providing encouragement and support

  • Ensuring safety on the field

  • Helping players participate to the best of their ability

Expectations:

  • Stay with your assigned player at all times

  • Promote independence while offering help when needed

  • Maintain a positive, respectful attitude

  • Be aware of gameplay to help prevent injury

Buddies are encouraged to stay with the same player throughout the season to build strong relationships.

General Volunteers

Help with:

  • Field setup and cleanup

  • Announcing games

  • Concessions

  • Game-day support

Younger Volunteers

Children under 12 can participate as Bat Boys/Bat Girls, helping keep games running smoothly.

Service hours and recommendations are available upon season completion.

Registration Information

We play 2 seasons per year – Spring and Fall

We have several volunteer positions available, including Buddies, Coaches, Umpires, Team Moms, and Concessions.

Individuals must be at least 12 years old to volunteer and be a Buddy. Buddies will be paired with players based on age and ability.  Buddies can be changed as needed if the match is not ideal.

We are now using an online registration process! CLICK FOR THE VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION SITE 

The Georgia Background Check Form must be completed for each volunteer aged 18 or older who will participate and be on the field with the players (Buddies, Coaches, Team Moms, Umpires, etc.). The Background check form can be found here: Georgia Background Check Form

When submitting the Georgia Background check form, please include a photocopy of the front of your driver’s license. This will be used by the Kingsland Police Department for processing.

There is no registration fee for volunteers. Buddy shirts will be provided to each Buddy free of charge.
